Mary Jhay is the Media Mogul of today's era. From radio production to Public Relations, she is a creative with a plethora of skills. Mary Jhay made a huge impact at Southern Illinois University when she created the first Urban Hip-Hop radio show on Carbondale's local radio station- WDBX 91.1FM. In only 6 months of consistent broadcasting, Mary Jhay was able to air her show on multiple platforms including internet and FM radio stations. After receiving her B.A. in Mass Communications, she continued to be a lifelong learner when she started her internship at Chicago's infamous radio station (Power 92.3.) She immediately utilized her Public Relations skills with writing blogs, creating press kits, and handling social media content for the company. Mary Jhay's sharp and persistent work ethic made her one of the most unique interns at the station. She was the only intern allowed to record promo and commercial drops for the station during her time there.
