Mary Griffin is an accomplished singer songwriter with numerous accomplishments over her 30 year professional career including: Grammy Nominations, multiple platinum records, and movie sound tracks to name a few. She attended Grambling State University and earned a BA and continued on to earn a Master's Degree in Performing Arts. She was signed to Curb Records C&W label for 10 years and sang many hit songs.

After leaving Curb, she performed and touring globally with Patti LaBelle for 13 years, and simultaneously for 7 years, with George Clinton and his PFunk band. Ms. Griffin finished her last engagements with both in October of 2015. She formed her own recording label "Mahogany Entertainment LLC".

In April, 2020 Mary was awarded a Doctorate in Humanities from the Grace International Bible University and in September, 2020 has launched her "Mary Griffin's International Academy of Music and Entertainment in Houston, TX with live stream capability.
