Born in the South of Scotland in the late 70’s, I grew up far removed from urban culture with nothing more than a cupboard full of old records and a copy of “Wildstyle” for sanity!
After introducing myself to the delights of Blues, R n’ B (the real stuff!), Rock n’ Roll, Soul, Rock, Funk, Punk, Disco, Hip Hop and early House, I looked up just in time to be bombarded by the UK Acid House explosion and the birth of “DJ Culture” – I have never looked back since!!
Since my early teens I have developed my skills and my ears, playing an eclectic blend of house, techno and electro music, fusing influences from all types of dancefloor, with a particular fetish for “whoops; sirens; basslines and filthy-mouthed, ghetto girls like Roxanne Shante”!!!
My work as a sound engineer has also seen me at the other end of the "Master Out", at events including Pressure, Colours, Inside Out, T in the Park and Live at Loch Lomond.
