Born and raised in Lancaster in the North West of England, Martin Collins (Obertelli) started playing records at the tender age of fifteen.

After studying music production at The Manchester Midi School he has played some amazing venues. Headlining the Grizedale Extrav at Lancaster University in 2004 was one his career highlights. Since then he’s played residencies at ‘Doin’ After Dark and Mint Lancaster. Along with local clubs such as The Sugarhouse, Toast, Cuba, Revolution, Korners, The Crypt, GZ Bar and Pendle Bar. He has also played at the Music Box and The Clock Tower in Manchester as well as a guest slot at the Lounge in Sheffield.

Currently working on his EP to be released later in the year and collaborations as his Safe & Sound group, 2011 looks like another successful year for Martin Collins (Obertelli).
