Markus Rives, born in Barcelona, began at a very young age to discover the world of rhythm and music.

His beginning as a DJ out of his comfort zone starts with private parties and corporate events. His first event out of previous ones was at a private party for Unlocked BCN, where he could share DJ cabin with Agber DJ and more deejays off techno genre.

While COVID-19 global pandemic, Markus Rives has formed on communication, marketing and others scopes that involves a DJ on his day to day. A lot of education from Sergei Rez, DJ and most important youtuber of electronic music in the Spanish-speaking world, Ibai Cereijo, Woo Media Director, and Oscar Hernandez, Surtribe Music Agency Founder.

In July of 2021, Addicting Records posts winners from his first contest "Addicting All Star DJ", where participated more than 50 deejays, included Markus Rives, who was classified in top 10.
