I've always loved dance music going back to the rave days in the mid 90's. After I bought my first set of Technics 1200's I started buying all that West Coast house vinyl. Artists that I loved were Peace Division, Slam, Steve Lawler, Onionz, etc. I also loved the Breaks that was coming out early 2000's, think Soul of man, Plump DJ's Freq Nasty. My sets are generally the latest tracks with a few classics thrown in. Made the move from 1210's to an RX3 and recently bought another Technics 1210 and have never looked back. I love techno in all its forms, progressive house, breaks, tech house and Deep house. Recently I have really been digging downtempo and the stripped back sound of Minimal Tech. This is my favourite set to mix as I feel there is no where to hide and you need to be technically proficient and understand the EQ's. I hope you enjoy my expressions.
