Growing up in a pub my music influence came from spending to much time in my bedroom, fortunately for me it was situated directly above the lounge which held a raucous jukebox (bonus), needless to say my sleep patters were altered at a very early age........ It could only ever end one way, the club/entertainments industry music became my life. I started DJ'ing in 1982 in a rollerskating rink in Blackpool and within a matter of a few years started to find myself working in and around the local bars and clubs. In 1987 I was invited to go with a friend to a warehouse in Blackburn this was my first introduction to a world of underground dance & acid house and from that moment on I was hooked.
As my taste in music started to diversify I quickly became aware of a new skill doing the rounds "mixing" watching a DJ blend 2 separate tracks of music together seemed an almost impossible concept but somehow I had to learn. The rest as they say is history.
