I started scratching in 2006, being driven by my passion for hip-hop. In the beginning I had Dj Sauce as a mentor, who taught me the secrets of turntablism. Then, I went a year in NY, where I learned from the local Dj’s, and I earned my respect in the last edition of The Gong Dj Battle, before Roc Raida’s death, the whole experience being an oasis of inspiration for me. Back from NY, I moved to Cluj, where I began a series of parties, with Dj Twist, and since 2010 I am part of Batranu Records label, which I consider more of a family. Meanwhile I worked with many artists from different parts of the country, and played at a lot of concerts and parties. y sets are totally unpredictable, spiced up with surprising elements, having vast influences, from nu-jazz, funk, reggae, to dnb, dub, trap, and even dubstep, not forgetting, of course, my first love, still predominant, hip-hop. What’s good about being a Dj is that you get to reinvent yourself every day.
