Mário Henriques started making music in 1993 and two years later he created the project Huma-noyd live.

From the start, the project was known as infectious and full of character, quickly gaining fans within the underground techno scene in Portugal and beyond.

In 1997 the project was included in the biggest electronic music festival to date in Portugal (Algarve’s Neptunus).

2011 saw a new opportunity for his career with the world renowned label " Kne'deep “, personally invited by owner and world famous DJ Rush. Huma-Noyd went on to also feature at DJ Rush’s Berlin based agency, a testimony of the quality of his music and live performances. His presence at international events increased substantially after this appointment, seeing Huma-Noyd at Tomorrowland festival (arguably the biggest dance music event on the planet) for 4 consecutive years, as well as appearances at Awakenings festival in Holland and performances at internationally known clubs such as Tresor in Berlin...
