Growing up in Chicago I was exposed to different genres in dance music. I grew up with early 80's Synth/ New Wave music. I enjoyed Italo at House parties with talented DJ friends. Experienced underground raves, of techno & house. Exploring the night life was a must! Places in Chicago to be explored included:
Neo, Smartbar, Latebar,Holiday Club,Nocturna night,Exit,Delilah's. Not to mention my favorite pansexual bar Berlin. These were the places that cultivated my musical taste. It was important to follow the music. The obscure dark wave mixed with the pop new wave always captured my interest. As a DJ you can always play what you love and work on getting better. It's a great form of being musical and creative at the same time.
