Rough & Rugged with Macasette

Marcus Macasette – Sonic Cassette Experiences
Marcus Macasette curates immersive Sonic Cassette Experiences—live performances that celebrate and reimagine analogue culture. Each event transforms sound into storytelling, blending cassette loops, vinyl textures, and retro-futuristic rhythms that invite audiences into a tactile, nostalgic, yet forward-looking sonic journey.
But this brand is more than performance—it’s a movement. Instead of paying with money, audiences contribute analogue treasures: books, cameras, vinyls, cassettes, and other artefacts of analogue culture. These donations become the true “entrance fee,” fueling a cycle of creativity and community.
