I'm a Portuguese living in Amsterdam. I have a lot of influences, from 80's Pop/Rock, late 80's/early 90's Heavy Metal, John Zorn and Avant-garde jazz and... Eletronics.
I started mixing Tribal and Progressive House in 2001 with two 1210 mk2. Due to life priorities I stopped playing and buying records in 2006. Everything changed in 2016 when I came to Amsterdam. A better live, the availability of record stores and events, and most important the amount of excellent music been made. All made me buy new music and play it. Netherlands is not easy, talking about housing, only in 2024 I finally got my permanent space where I can play.
I changed music and also decks in 2024, I play now digital format with two SC6000. I'm still learning tricks and different ways of doing things, takes time to get used.
I have all my track on vinyl and I record them one by one to play them. I love and I buy vinyl but I prefer digital to play for a lot of reasons.
