CITIZEN:KANE’s connection with music has lead to different experiences, but it is in composition that his enthusiasm achieves greater importance.

As a teenager he was a drummer in Lemon Candies band.
In 2000, he founded Orson & Welles [DJ] with Nuno Patrício. Later on, he joins Dance Club Magazine’s as a reporter.

Since 2009 his music was released by Mands Music [Hungary], Blackline Records, Fungo, Extended Records, Alienação, Freima Labs [Portugal], Moira Audio Recordings [Hungary], Medical Records Transfusions [USA] and Rádio Quântica.

As ROSE:BUD, he has released by Fungo, Alienação and Paraíso/Rave Tuga.

With José Diogo Mateus, he is 1/2 of CALAFATE project. They released their first album, "Lo-Fi Expeditions", in 2017, as Citizen:kane & Hobo and The Birds; "Pinky Cloud" is their second one, but the first as CALAFATE.

He his co-founder of Fungo label and artist collective.
