Marcelo Malta, a.k.a MLTX, began his musical journey at a young age, following in the footsteps of his multi-instrumentalist father. He honed his skills as a drummer and musician in hardcore, punk rock, and heavy metal bands, developing a deep connection with diverse rhythms and melodies.
In 2015, his passion for music took him to major festivals and parties. There, he discovered a love for techno, immersing himself in the sounds of renowned artists who profoundly influenced his musical direction. This newfound passion, coupled with encouragement from a friend during the pandemic, led him to explore DJing.
MLTX has quickly made a name for himself, playing at parties and podcasts worldwide. His talent was recognized by the Colombian collective @elviaje where he was invited to be a curator, fostering opportunities for other underground artists.
MLTX's DJ sets are characterized by a unique blend of techno, indie dance, and dark disco, a fusion he terms #fusiontechno.
