Dark, melodic and potent music is the trademark of Mapiu,
an electronic music connoisseur with a strong influence from
Kraftwerk and Jean Michel Jarre.
Born in Mexico City, Mapiu started his DJ career at the age of 14
when he started a journey he did not image one day would take
him to share the stage with many of his idols.
The sounds of Tech House, Deep House and Techno dominate
his DJ sets, and with them an atmosphere where you can get lost
for hours is generated.
Mapiu begins producing his own music in 2005 and his tracks get
support by many important DJs and producers like James Zabiela,
Jimmy Van M. and Hernan Cattaneo just to mention some.
He is currently working on new tracks and sound along with his good friend L-Brauer.
