"Mao Xi has been working for different radio stations in China and abroad for over 15 years as a producer as well as presenter. She produced the ground breaking series of radio programs interviewing people from more than 30 countries about different perspectives on modern life around the world. From July 2003 to November 2004, she co-hosted a food culture show with the BBC Chinese Service (Knife, Fork and Chopsticks吃东吃西) and was highly praised for her work.
Apart from teaching English and Culture studies at SCU,she worked at the local music radio on a part-time basis and was the coordinator of the university FM Radio and College English Speaking Program （Leading 36 English Native Teachers）."
