Mani Miglani is an American DJ, music producer, MC, poet, songwriter, fashion style inspirer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Transplanted to the USA from India at the age of 2, Mani grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and began his musical career while attending the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana as a member of the ΣAE fraternity, where many on campus had their first experience "raving". The house's after-hours were transformed, which led to him kick-starting large-scale, all-night dance events, as obS Productions (with ΣAE, Brian Bretz) in Champaign, IL. The parties were legendary, and "everyone has a Mani story." After graduating from college, he began working for Gramaphone Records and also started a new venture called obS->ear DJs, named after the ‘emissary audio response’ provided when the agency sent its DJs to where they were needed.
