He is one of the leading Dub & Bass champions in the United States and has brought dubwize communities from Roots Reggae to Dubstep and Dancehall to Drum'n'Bass as well as S. Asian Electronic to Global Bass worlds together. Surya Dub has won Best Club Night in the SF Weekly Music Awards & Best Ambassadors of Dread Bass from SF Guardian Best of the Bay. Also Maneesh was awarded the Best Club DJ of San Francisco by the SF Bay Guardian! He is also a resident of one of the longest running weekly dub & roots night in the world, Dub Mission, which recently celebrated their 21st anniversary and wrapped up their residency!
