Mandy J Daniels’ passion for techno began with a love for rhythm, an ear tuned to bass, and a powerful moment in a drum circle when young. She studied the bass guitar (electric and upright, Bach to Motown), then followed the sound to clubs from Canada to New Zealand, and found herself at home with house music, and a taste that encompasses tech house and most prominently, techno.. Though she started DJing in 2011, early 2014 proved a turning point when she moved to Toronto and got heavily steeped in techno in the clubs there. She started producing later that year and is now emerging as a DJ and artist from her newly adopted home of Montreal.
