Malx, aka Malcolm Pope, is a DJ from the UK with ten years of experience. Whether it is headlining a packed peak time dance floor or setting up a laid back lounge vibe, Malx’s brand of electronic music incorporates the gamut of cutting edge electronica, house, techno and everything in between.
Malx first spun at Birmingham midweek session, Remedy, which he co-promoted with friends. This particular night attracted a number of well-known British DJs such as Paul Thomas, Matt Hardwick and Adam Sheridan. In 2005 he won the Daily Telegraph DJ Competition in Birmingham. Some of the renowned UK venues he has played at include Air (home of Godskitchen) and the legendary Custard Factory/ Medicine Bar, which has seen almost every name in EDM perform at some point, whilst in India he has headlined events for Submerge and Budweiser, amongst others, in Mumbai, Goa, Pune and Hyderabad at venues like Mambos, Venom (formally F bar), Taj Wink, 1 Lounge and Tote.
