Paradise Express

Paradise Express were Vi Ann (lead vocals) and Herb Jimmerson (keyboards) and were based on the Fantasy label. They recorded many noteable disco songs. Their first, self titled album includes "Dance" (a cover of the Paul Jabara classic), "Poinciana", "Star in my life" and the unusual "Reverend Lee". Backing vocals on this were provided by Izora Rhodes and Martha Wash - who were recording separately at the time as Two Tons of Fun.
