House dj for the Concord Hotel (Kiamesha) Monticello Catskills in the 80es Spinning mostly disco and rock Mac's interest in other genres of music brought him to Brooklyn where MacArthur emerged covering for the legendary Billy Voz at Brooklyns Bay Club. MacArthur crossing paths with legendary DJ's Freddy Bastone, Mark Kamins (R.I.P), Romaine and DJ Smash, just to name a few, playing the infamous Giant Step partys at Metropolis in Union Square and later at the renowned Save the Robots on the lower east side as well as a number of other clubs including Danceteria in the Hamptons and Sandbar in Jersey City , where he kept the crowd pumped up to a progressive dance with classic rock mixes .
