Lyrikill is multi-talented. When he is not in the booth, hosting the SOUNDCLASH beat battle, or laying down a feature, he develops manuscripts intended to uplift misguided youth and bring the more positive and creative side of hip-hop to light.

“Your regions music is a reflection on the people and of those people. When people start to believe that they’re hopeless—then they eventually become that way. My purpose is putting our art and culture back in the hands of the people who care about it and aren’t just out to make a dollar.”

Lyrikill's albums have garnered critical acclaim from websites and bloggers as he has been named to such lists as "Most Slept on Albums" and "Best Independent Release." His Album "More Heart More Sole" was named Album of the Year at New Orleans Hip-Hop Awards in 2011. He has graced the stages alongside Talib Kweli, Raekwon, Jay Electronica and Afrika Bambataa.
