Hailing from Islington, Lynden J’s special affection for the calming, soothing and uplifting vibes of the 70s and early 80s, has ignited an unquenchable passion for the soul,funk and disco genres.It all began with a under 18s and then an over 18s club night at The Pink Elephant (formally The Royalty) in Southgate, DJ's Robbie Vincent, Chris Hill and Froggy got the club dancing with soulful and funky tracks from the likes of Maze Donald Byrd Fatback Band Teena Marie to Mystic Merlin. Seeking out and building up his extensive vinyl collection has taken him across the Atlantic and closer to home in search of the elusive tracks that drive his passion. Becoming a lifetime journey, this voyage has spurred Lynden's desire to add a little Soul into everyone’s life!
