Luke Thomas, LINKED UP, is a Perth based DJ and Producer with a great fondness for the nightlife, positive party vibes and ‘linking’ people together through music.
Linked Up is a 25-year-old Male born in the UK, but raised down under in Australia. Always showing a great interest in anything musical from a young age, Linked Up initiated his learning curve through Brass, Wind, String and Percussion Instruments as early as Primary School. Swing, Jazz and Classical music foundations were laid, which eventually became more hands on as technology advanced within the DJ Industry. By pure chance, he was given the opportunity to learn the art of ‘DJing’ at a free community dance class, which was Hip Hop inspired, thus having the art of Vinyl Scratching and Beat Matching drilled in from the very beginning. This slowly progressed to CDJ’s and then eventually took Serato on board as his weapon of choice.
