I own a cat rescue centre and have recently taken in blind cats from other countries.I fight all animal abuses and cruelty.My passion is cats and I love the big wild cats, many of which are endangered like the Siberian Tigers,Snow Leopards, Amur Leopards and the list goes on.I believe in promoting awareness of such topics and believe a good place to start teaching children is while they are young and maybe in schools.Also good pet ownership should begin with the children :) The world is a very cruel place for animals today and is not helped in the wild by loss of habitat,poaching,trophy hunting,the fur trade,culling etc.Other issues need fighting like vivisection,bear bile farms , animals farmed and caught for ancient medicines,factory farming,fois gras,dog/cat used as food,animals used in circuses,bull fighting,dog fighting and baiting, the dolphins in Taiji Bay (the film "The Cove,well worth watching)whaling,,the list goes on,all because of mans greed and wanting more.......
