art is revealing our own (physical) artificiality ever more drastically to us. humans as machines, as robots, driven and powered objects, degraded and reduced to chemical plants - real imageries are not lacking. we speak of freedom and create "exclusive spaces" accessible to a diminishingly small minority. to wander about and astray is human. which is why this exhibition obeys an inverted principle: it confronts visitors, also metaphorically, with spaces and perceptually disconcerting situations in which they may come to feel they are misfits or objects and so be able to rediscover themselves in new categories of acceptance, and in the recognition of otherness and others.
