Out raving since the early 90's and getting involved with the dance music scene in the city ever since. Lucid promotions became properly established in 2004 with residents, Negative & Raze hosting events at the Lost Lounge, Walsall and The Boiler Room, Hockley in conjunction with Heducation.

During this time, Lucid worked with artists such as:
Commix
Nu Tone
Pariah
Nookie
Skitty
BCee & Lomax

The two DJ's had a reputation for well selected sets that were soulful and dance floor orientated. Invitations to play at Radius, The Custard Factory and many other clubs were frequent.

More recently in 2012, Lucid was behind the Rush, old skool revival night at PST, which saw the return of Birmingham original, Keith Suckling.
