This mix is pretty just as the title describes - a set of long ambient pieces, perfect for sleeping. There's not much else to say other than the tracks are all fairly new with most of them from 2023.
I was happy to use a longer version of the Crows Labyrinth track in this mix. I used it in my Blade Runner mix earlier in the year but it was the short version. I have been listening to the long version a lot this year and using it as a sleep soundtrack quite a bit as well. So I knew I had to use more of the 39 minute track in this mix. That album will make my best of the year list for sure.

What mix is the Loneward “Light Blossom” it seems to be different than the album version?
Wow, that's a good catch! That is not "Light Blossom." I opened the project for this mix and it shows "Light Blossom" on the timeline so I'm guessing that maybe I exported a first draft and then changed the track to "Light Blossom" but I must not have exported a revised version. The track you are looking for is "Soft Space" by Altus from the album Trailhead. It sort of makes sense to mix up the tracks because Altus & Loneward are both Mike Carss. I hope that helps. Thanks for the heads-up on the mislabeled track.

Haha, yep I generally stay away from their darker stuff. I've really liked the last two Mount Shrine albums, this one released posthumously.

Is this music considered ambient drone? I think that drone is the most pure form of ambient soundscape. Could you make an ambient drone mix? thank you.
While some of these tracks have drone qualities, I wouldn't consider them to be "ambient drone." I generally am not a big fan of straightforward drone music but a mix of stuff that I like is a possibility. Thanks for listening and commenting.
