You know when you see a certain director is involved with a film, like Christopher Nolan, you know it'll be interesting. That's how I feel when "Curated by Paul Asbury Seaman" is attached to a mix.
Paul says:
“Most of us have contemplated the seemingly contradictory opposites that are a fundamental aspect of reality: good and evil, joy and pain, love and hate, our inner world and infinite space. But this ying/yang, male/female, fire/water dichotomy obscures the fact that much of life is lived in the in-between, in the places where light and dark overlap. Perhaps one reason so many people find calm and inspiration at the beach is its liminal quality—between the ocean and the land. In this mix I give you 71 minutes in that mysterious clarity between trance and tranquility.”

I totally agree about Alio Die. As new artists enter the scene and I seek out new albums and new sounds, I sometimes forget just how good Alio Die is. Thanks for listening and sharing all the tracklists.
this is peaceful, beautiful, and hypnotic..........
Excellent!
Thanks for listening!
I've listened to that Alio Die opening track several times already (and now on to the whole album on Spotify). I find it really meditative and gentle. Nice add! I find the rest of the album a bit more "guitar tuning-ey" in sound but I guess that's the nature of a sitar.
I know what you mean about the rest of the album. The track used here is definitely my favorite from that album. Thanks for checking out the mix. Cheers!
That's amazing
Thanks for listening!
Thank you so much for introducing me to Louigi Verona and droning.
That was precisely my intention...to share the wealth, and my own happy discoveries! :-)
ABSOLUTE THE BEST I'VE HEARD THIS YEAR. THANKS
So glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for commenting. You made my day!
so good
I completely and fundamentally agree with the statement posted above. In my opinion some real wisdom there. I listen to and enjoy, many different types of music and genre of sound. It makes me a jack of all trades and really master of none at all. I can only describe what the music makes me feel. your sets always leave me astounded in their clarity and beauty. This drone laden set is another sound well versed in those "in-between" moments of peace. Loving and incredibly well done. Cheers!!
Thank you, Kristian, for your kind comments. Few things make me happier than being able to share with others the things that have given me joy and meaning and have them find a familiar connection. Beauty and clarity: who could as for anything more?
thank you - a really good mix
Thanks for listening!
