Exploring the power of myth to form an alternative holiday ritual, Xhurch has offered an ambiguous zone that is at once familiar & uncanny, engaging visitors in an exploration of sacrality and ritual within unorthodox, nondenominational and indefinite sacred space. Tonight we celebrate a decade long series of Xhurch performances with it’s creator Matt Henderson whom has curated a mix of music defining the space, gives some background context for the venue’s unique ethos, and guides us through the 10 ’nativity' scenes.
