Lost Discoveries Radio rides the waves this week with the wet & wild Babau boyz via their imprint Artetetra Records. Babau is the pantropical Italian duo harkening unearthly delights of unconscious reticular motion, wacky 3D shredding, and daily “side quests”. What these “quests” are is open to interpretation, but we’re on the trail of where they lead.... Dare brave their drop zones of animal memories, glowing red altars, pixie exodus (?!) , neon gallery meltdowns, moon spirits, groshings, cabin fever, amphibian vertex mass and more klang than you can count! All this along with a live transmission from their recent tour road-dogging through southern Europe featuring a flair of exotica influences that builds full of lofty low poly structures, tentacular “mickey-mousing” gesticulations, and already obsolete sonic ontologies.
