today we look back on 2014 and some "firsts" it br
like the chickens and a cover crop test. we also t

now we finally have a start with chickens. four pu

so amanda's potted plants went down hard. the gras

it's surprising that we have so many cucumbers aft
and yesterday amanda cut up a big batch of them fo
food storage is a constant issue for subsistence f
the best way to “store” vegetables during the wint
it's our first christmas in the lodge
and the farmer-in-chief is eager to show it off. t
because most of the hardwoods have dropped their l
and the woods are more open for viewing
three years after we planted our first fruit trees
we’re finally seeing fruit we can enjoy eating. th
