Lomyx was born in Trieste in 1971 to a Gorizian father and Croatian mother, and raised by his Friulian grandmother — a true cultural mix that shaped his early love for music. At 5 he started playing piano, studying classical composers like Bach and Chopin, which gave him a deep understanding of music structure.

At 12, he joined Radio Moggio Diamond Valley, discovering his passion for vinyl and DJing. By 16, he was playing at local parties and festivals. In the ’90s, he performed at the historic Grotta in Artegna and soon moved from the side room to the main stage.

A chance gig led him to the “Saremo Famosi DJ” contest, where his talent was spotted by an agency manager. Though personal commitments pulled him away from the spotlight, he continued to DJ occasionally.

Thanks to Paolo De Contis and Cristian Comelli of Radio Studio Nord, Lomyx made his return — bringing with him a lifetime of musical passion and experience.
