In 2012, I spent 3 hours in a department store on an iPad playing Algoriddim's Djay app. That was my induction into the world of mixing and djing. Later that day I went home, downloaded Virtual DJ onto my laptop and spent the next year learning all the tricks to being able to make a proper set on my laptop. It's now 2014 and I am still learning how to become the best DJ I can. My name is Lochlan but I go by the stage name EarlJay. I live in Newcastle, Australia and I am an aspiring DJ/Producer hoping to one day to be properly recognised for my music. I want to be able to drive my car and hear one of my tracks playing on the radio, or hear my tracks dropping in clubs or festivals the world over. I listen to and mix everything from Deep House, Electro and Trap to Old School Hip Hop, Rock and Pop to try and diversify myself. I don't want to belong to one genre of electronic music.
