Chicago, United States
I was born and raised on the southside of Chicago on disco and house music, WBMX, WHPK, WVON/Herb Kent, AND WGCI went to the Playground which was a young adult club from 1982-83 which was on 1347 S. Michigan Ave in Chicago. I graduated from Kenwood Academy in 1984, I knew Chip E. and was there when he was working on his music. Then I graduated straight to the top when I discovered the Music Box I in the summer of ' 83 and my life has never been the same which was 1632 S. Indiana Ave. " Yeah that was the Music Box goddammit" Peace to Ron Hardy and Frankie Knuckles!!! A lot of people don't know this but when Ron Hardy/Robert Williams moved the Music box to 326 N. Lower Michigan Ave, that was where legendary Andre Hatchett ( who don't get enough credit) was spinning at, but it was called the R2 Under ground, but it never took off. Let me stop because I can go for literally 2 hours because I WAS THERE TOO!!!
