Music has always been my destiny, even before I knew it. At 15, those school discos hit me like a revelation — music, dancing, girls — and suddenly life opened up. Leaving Scotland at 16 and ending up in Leicestershire dropped me straight into a world of ravers: white gloves, whistles, shapes flying everywhere. My first proper night was Nemesis Amnesia Rage, and from there everything changed. I travelled all over, met incredible people, and found clubs and raves that felt like whole universes. Music became my constant, my tether through every curveball life threw. When I’m on the decks, on the dance floor, or lost in a tune with my eyes closed, everything else fades. It’s the calm in the storm, the universe humming. My late fiancée Kate is always with me in those moments. Maybe one day our paths will cross out there, somewhere in that galaxy of sound.
