LiLO comes from a family of musicians and dancers, so music has always been part of her life. With a professional background in dance, she has a natural feel for rhythm, flow and energy, something that now shines through her DJ sets.
She bought her first controller just before lockdown and used that unexpected pause to dive into mixing and learn the craft. What started at home quickly turned into live streams, first with the Paraffin Milkshake kitchen discos in 2020, then with Stafford Sessions via Mixcloud, and from there into live sets.
Now based in Andalucía, Spain, LiLO is part of the Casa Electronica, Soundbike and La JandaGround DJ collectives, playing regular sessions across clubs, bars, music venues and private events in Spain and the UK.
For LiLO, DJing is about people's energy. Her sessions move between funky, disco and soul-influenced house, with deeper moments of deep and tech house, always warm, energy filled, groove-led, and made to connect.
