Explain The World takes an in-depth look at news stories of the week from around the world, as well as the latest trending topics from the web. Although the internet is more accessible and open than ever before, people still miss some of the most entertaining stories and videos in their daily lives. I hope to bring people something that they can’t get anywhere else. The show is more than just a social media transcript; it offers honest insight into relevant social issues.

In the modern world, radio is competing with iPods; smart phones; and MP3 players. These are just as accessible as the internet. If people want to hear music, why would they choose a radio station over their MP3 player? An MP3 player is the superior choice – there are no adverts or interruptions. My number one goal is to be different and not another ‘here’s this song, then there’s another song, see you in 30 minutes when I say more song names!’ DJ. My focus throughout is talk and discussion of real issues.
