DJ Coles began broadcasting on radio during the 2020 lockdown period, over the course of these years it has enabled me to explore all kinds of artists and genres and to get a full appreciation of how important music is to everyone, not just from purely listening as background noise, to me it's about making a connection with audiences and the impact it has on your life.

Joined a brand new online station Qube Radio from 2020 to 2021, with a diverse music mix show 'Late Lunch' and later 'Afternoon Tunes'. From 2021 to 2024 joined Attic Sessions Radio, formed by fantastic DJ producer Darren James, who came up with the quirky radio show name 'Coles at the Controls'. Doing the show really set the benchmark for myself to put radio skills to professional use by becoming a DJ live at public events.
