In an era of increasing inequality, pervasive nihilism and decreasing meaningful innovations, there are many many many intellectuals, artists, engineers and scientists working to buck this trend and/or lay the foundation for a new age of mass dynamic engagement and production. “Going to space” exemplifies a problem embraced by the fearless and the bold, and discounted by the shortsighted and regressive.
