With spiritual yearning scourged,
Through somber waste I led my wander,
When seraph with six wings emerged
Onto the passway crossing yonder.
Upon my orbs, light as a sleep,
He did impose a fingertip:
Like a feared eagle's eyes were mine
And with presentiment did shine.

With noise they flooded and with peal.
