In the summer of 2005, Easton, Pennsylvania's DJ Lehara became the first and only dance music DJ ever invited to perform at Bethlehem's MUSIKFEST (www.musikfest.org). In the 20-plus year history of the largest, free music festival in the U.S., no other dance/electronic DJ has yet to grace its stages. (This years lineup includes four Hip-Hop/Latin DJs)
DJ Lehara is Carl Noone Jr., a former writer and photographer who was published 1996 thru 2007. His musical influences range from the West Coast phenomenon known as The Hardkiss Brothers, to Jane's Addiction and KISS. But his biggest influences in life remain to be his two young boys, strong spiritual beliefs and his appreciation of art history and turn-of-the-century American illustrators. A child of the 60s Hippy generation, with roots planted squarely at the beginning of Generation X.
