Lee's love of electronic music started at a very young age listening to bands like Kraftwerk and Jean michel Jarre . In the early 80's he moved into the electro/hiphop genre until he came across House music around 1985. Now with a great record collection Lee started to DJ at friends parties and seemed to have a natural talent. By 1988/9 Lee had the opportunity to play on London pirate radio station Sunrise FM. After leaving Sunrise he moved to various other stations and in 1995 ended up on London's biggest and longest running station at the time Energy 87.9 FM. Here he had a 4 hour set on Sundays. This led to a residency in Ziggi's/Goodfellows in Streatham as well as Sniffters wine bar in Croydon, as well as playing at some of the major clubs in and around
