Lee Meow first got behind a pair of decks around 2002. At this time she began to collect records bought from London and became totally immersed in techno music. Since she didn’t have her own setup at that time, she focused solely on collecting. Then came a break in 2007 when she finally got her own equipment and was able to learn some proper skills. She began to play around clubs in Brno under the pseudonym FreeDo and eventually became a resident at local club Muzejka. In 2013 she switched her focus to drum and bass, which she was attracted to by its large selection of subgenres. You can most often hear her playing deep and liquid DnB sounds, but also harder styles such as neurofunk and crossbreed. With time she became a resident promoter at a club in Žďár, where she organised the DNB WARS night as well as warm-up events for her favourite festival Let It Roll. This club eventually started to build up a roster of DnB residents who together founded the Audiobrainz crew.
