I have been playing since I was 18 years old and started out at that time singing in pubs and clubs alongside gigs. Music for me is a passion, it's about taking people on a journey whether this be for a few moments on a night out or a full house set with people leaving the dance floor at the end of the night when the lights go up shouting ‘One More Tune’.

I have an eclectic taste personally when it comes to what music I enjoy, if it sounds good I love it! I think in the early years when I started to play at venues in and around Manchester like Sankey's and Venus at Club V it was all excitement, energy and at first nerves... at the end of the day its all about doing a good job right?

A moment I remember was asking a good mate of mine who is a Manchester House Music legend how should I play set wise.... the response came back saying just do what you normally do Simmo... play for the crowd. The truth was and still is to this day... its more play for the girls cause the lads will follow.
