Born twenty years too late - would love to have been there in the late fifties / sixties! Started collecting mod revival / soul vinyl back in the early 80's before drifting away from the scene. Still picked up plenty of vinyl from car boots along the way as we have always had and used a record player (JVC - 30 years old - same stylus and still gets great sound!) Still love all of the music that drew us into the Mod scene back then and it's really good to see that the scene all around the world is going strong. Been a resident DJ at "What Goes On" in Birmingham for a couple of years now (cheers PID) and we have just had our first "Worcestershire Sixties Sauce" do locally here in Worcester, which had a great turnout and raised money for local cancer charities. Hoping that we can get a few more on next year!
