After diving head first into the Underground EDM scene while in its prime in the late 90's, Lauren aka Lauren C. Beatz gained a love and passion for the scene and especially for the music. She got her first decks when she was just 18 and beggining college. She learned to mix like a pro and began playing house parties and small gigs around her college town with no problem of drawing a large crowd. She was eventually offered a weekly residency at a local bar and club called AF Rays. After graduating, Lauren moved back to Denver and began producing, remixing and writing her own original music as a way to broaden her knowledge and skills as a DJ. Her style of music is influenced by genres such as Funky House, French House, Deep House, Artists such as Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, DJ Irene, Sandra Collins, Sphongle and Tiesto are just a few of the many artists that she takes inspiration from. Lauren is currently working on her first album and is enrolled in the Global DJ Academy in Denver, CO.
