Born in the region of Paris and influenced by hip-hop music, Pierre Layma started producing in his adolescence. He is a self-taught musician strongly influenced by his musical voyages. He learned the software and created the music for the short-film Nautil-us de Massinissa Hocine in 2007. Thanks to this opportunity and the continuation of his studies at SAE, he started his first debut in Paris bars and clubs before becoming a DJ solely for a cocktail bar in Marrakech in 2010. His return to Paris has led him to invest his time in different projects, “Karisma,” thanks to the influence of Daxxel, who he met several years prior in Brittany. He has brought to “Karisma” an intimate universe based on old and new school music, from jazz and soulful house.
