Composer, teacher, and instrumentalist, Lau Marques works as arranger for small orchestras, as well as instrumentalists in bands besides teaching flute, sax, guitar and singing for more than 12 years in music schools in the city of São Paulo.
It has Northeastern ancestry and its influences range from Brazilian rhythms such as baião and choro to jazz and American pop music.
